Wordless Wednesdays: Our Most Recent Trip | Multicultural Kid Blogs

This week on Wordless Wednesday our members’ photos will take you around the world as we reminisce about the trips we took this summer. Enjoy!

Our Most Recent Trip

Adrienne Demirelli | Paris, France | Trip to: Turkey

This summer, we drove from France to Turkey to visit my husband’s family. It was a long road trip but we visited so many places and saw different kinds of landscapes along the way. Can you spot the cave?

Mia Wenjen | West Newton, MA, USA | Trip to: Captain Cook, Big Island, Hawaii, USA

Place of refuge: Pu’uhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park. “This 180-acre national historic park was once the home of royal grounds and a place of refuge for ancient Hawaiian lawbreakers.”

Leanna | Sacramento, CA, USA | Trip to: Costa Rica

We recently traveled to Costa Rica to visit family and, of course, go to the beach!

MaryAnne Kochenderfer | California, USA | Trip to: Billund, Denmark

Visiting the LEGO house was a dream come true for our family. You can tell they loved the actual experience, too!

Vicki Garlock | Asheville, NC, USA | Trip to: Italy

Our most recent trip was to Italy. This photo (friend, son, husband, daughter, boyfriend) is in front of the Trevi fountain. It looks cool, but it was not! It was very hot and crowded, but we had a blast!

Mia Wenjen | Boston, MA, USA | Trip to: Japantown in San Francisco, CA

My mother grew up in Japantown before WWII. Her home was torn down to create the Peace Plaza shown here. We ate ramen and sushi here in her honor!

We hope you enjoyed this week’s Wordless Wednesday. Until next time!
