  2. Hello,

Outline productions are the makers of BBC2’s ‘The Great British Garden Revival’ and we are currently making a brand new Sky 1 series which explores Britain and Ireland’s beautiful private gardens.

I came across your organisation and was really keen to reach you to see if our programme appeared of interest. We’re looking for passionate people who would like to show their gardens to the nation. It’s a lovely opportunity for non-professional gardening enthusiasts to showcase their own private gardens as well as explore other interesting gardens in their area, and the programme’s ultimate aim is to celebrate gardening as a passion belonging to a wide variety of people around the country. This is a celebratory opportunity to show off a much loved garden, learn tips and get horticultural advice from others as well as pr ovide feedback on other gardens.

We are keen to represent a variety of gardens of different styles & sizes as well as representing a whole range of British gardens, including people from different ages, whether you’re 17 or 70, as well gardens that have been inspired from diverse worldwide cultures would be wonderful.

We are filming across the country and will be filming in and around the Midlands, London, Sussex, Surrey and Kent. In each episode we will feature 3 gardens. You will have the chance to invite the other garden owners to see your garden and vice versa.

There is a competition element and the tone of the programme is very warm & inclusive. We are asking people to give their honest opinions so that the gardeners and the viewers can learn tips and get advice on how to improve their garden. The gardens are judged by the design and maintenance, knowledge and the overall garden experience. The winner of the 3 gardens (scored by each other) will be rewarded a prize of £500.

This is a brand new format that’s aimed at passionate gardeners who wish to host a day in their garden and open their eyes to new styles and experiences.

We have just finished filming episode 1 and it went extremely well. All 3 garden owners have become firm friends and all have learned a lot from the experience.

We will be filming from August so are really keen on hearing from people at their earliest convenience. If you know of anyone that might be interested please do forward our details and you can also see more information about us here http://www.voice-online.co.uk/article/are-you-passionate-gardening-enthusiast

Is there any chance you can put me through to any of your members in England? Thank you for your help, it’s much appreciated.

    Kind regards,
