Read Around the World Summer Reading Series

Read Around the World Summer Reading Series 2015 | Multicultural Kid Blogs

Multicultural Kid Blogs is delighted to bring to you our 2nd annual Read Around the World Summer Reading Series beginning today, June 3rd through August 28th, 2015.

Last summer we were introduced to FridaDiego Rivera, an Indian Princess named Aisha,  Miffy the Dutch bunny,   Ang Unang baboy sa Langit a Filipino pig,  a Russian boy Uncle Fred and his friends the dog and the cat, and Polly a little girl from Alaska.  These are just a few of the diverse characters that we read about last year. We also had fabulous multicultural kid lit recommendations in French, German, Russian, Spanish, Filipino, Georgian, Quechua, and Dutch; plus many more in English!   We literally visited countries from around the world in our Read Around the World Summer Reading Series, and this year we’re looking to visit more countries, read in more languages, and welcome in our homes more beloved and diverse characters!

Please join us as we recommend during this summer multicultural kid lit for your children. It’s easy! Just follow us on Read Around the World Summer Reading Pinterest board (shown below), or join the discussion on Facebook page and G+ community!
