Very Best Kids Activities of 2013 Blog Hop

Very Best Kids Activities of 2013 Blog HopWe are so pleased to be participating in a best of the best blog hop with other members of the wonderful Kid Blogger Network.  This blog hop is designed to give you a sampling of the very best kids activities from 2013.  Each participating blogger chooses a post to share, showcasing the best they have to offer.

Since we are a collaborative blog, it was difficult to choose just one post.  Our Multicultural Meal Plan Mondays series has been very popular, as was our series Christmas in Different Lands.

But in the end what we really wanted to showcase is what we as multicultural kid bloggers feel we have to offer to the community – ideas and encouragement for opening up the world to your child.  Multiculturalism is for everyone, not just those that live abroad, travel widely, are part of a cross-cultural family, or speak more than one language.

The world belongs to all of us, and it is truly ours to explore with our children.

And so we chose to highlight this wonderful post from MKB member (and Board member) Olga Mecking:

Tips for Appreciating Different CulturesTips for Appreciating Different Cultures in a Non-Diverse Environment gives practical ideas for how you can foster an appreciation of diversity no matter where you live.

To explore more of the posts from MKB and our member bloggers, be sure to follow us on Pinterest!

And now to the blog hop:

Below you’ll find over 50 Kid Blogger Network members coming together for The KBN Best Of 2013 Blog Hop. We know you’ll find tons of wonderful ideas to browse, pin and share. We’d love for you to join the blog hop and share your favorite activity of 2013 too, and make sure you’re following the Kid Blogger Network on Pinterest.
