Top Black History Subscription Boxes For Kids

Are you looking for a way to teach your children about Black history?  A Black history subscription box is a fun way to do just that. Keep reading as I share some of the top Black subscription boxes for kids, which you can have delivered to your home each month.

1. Because of Them We Can Box

Because of Them We Can launched their first subscription box a few years ago, they are passionate about engaging kids with Black history. They know that Black History Month is a crucial time in the year, but they believe that Black history and heritage should be celebrated all year long. Expect curated boxes delivered directly to your door monthly or less frequently, depending on your budget and preferences.

2. In Kidz America Black History Box

This subscription box is near and dear to my heart. I co-created the first America Black history box for kids with the founder of In Kidz. The In Kidz America Black History box explores the traditions and individuals that made invaluable contributions to the United States of America. The box includes fun activities that explore the work of African American scientists, inventors, authors, business owners, musicians, athletes, political leaders, etc. Last but not least, proceeds go to charity, and most items have been sourced from Black-owned businesses.

3. Just Like Me Book Box

For parents with children under the age of 12, I recommend the Just Like Me Book Box. Each box contains two or three books that celebrate African American history. As your child grows older, the books will become more advanced to fit their current age range.

4. Melanin and Made Box

Melanin and Made offer an array of boxes for kids. They are a great way to make your kids feel like they are part of a wider community, and you’ll be able to customize the box to fit your child’s needs. Teenagers can also enjoy these boxes, so the fun will continue for many years to come.

5. Dream in STEAM Box

The Dream in STEAM Box provides many different benefits and tools in one box. Their subscription boxes inspire kids to explore their future potential career opportunities and learn that Black history is American history. Parents will love the fact that everything you need to enjoy endless activities with your kids is included, making school breaks much more accessible for everyone.

6. Black Girl Mathgic Box

Math is a subject that many young girls struggle with. The Black Girl Mathgic Box supports Black History Month and will help improve their math confidence. The content is very relatable for young girls, making them enjoy this subject more than ever before.

7. KOKÚMỌ Box

Children between the ages of seven and 12 can learn about Black history with the KOKÚMỌ subscription box. They focus on African and Caribbean geography and history, which is something that’s often overlooked in other Black subscription boxes for kids. Inside each box, you will find unique gifts that help immerse you in the culture of the country you are studying.

As you can see, there’s no shortage of Black history subscription boxes for kids to discover and explore. You’ll find that they all provide stellar ways to learn more about Black culture and history during Black History month and beyond.

Many of these boxes offer different subscription choices, so you’ll be able to find a solution that works for your current needs and budget. Furthermore, your kids will love receiving something fun in the mail each month, and it will help increase their interest in a history that has shaped America.
