Multicultural Kid Blogs is proud to announce that this year we are joining in the US Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service on January 20 by challenging our readers (and ourselves!) to take the time to do service with our children.

Next week participating bloggers will share some of the ways they do service with their kids. In addition, you will have a chance to link up your posts and/or share in the comments about your own experiences.
For some ideas on how to get started, browse our list of family-friendly service projects or great organizations to support. You can also follow our Teaching Global Citizenship and Black History boards on Pinterest.

Let’s preserve the legacy of Dr. King by coming together to serve our communities.
See you next week!
